What game system do you specialize in?
Pathfinder 2e is my primary focus. I am happy to run a wide range of Pathfinder 2e adventures and Adventure Paths, including the campaigns listed on the Adventures page.
Do I need to buy Foundry VTT or subscribe to it?
No. You do not need to purchase Foundry Virtual Tabletop, and you do not need a Foundry subscription. I provide and maintain the Foundry server used for your campaign. You simply connect through your web browser using the game link I provide on brassdragon.us. Your Foundry access is part of the game experience, not a separate software purchase.
What virtual tabletop do you use?
Games are run on Foundry Virtual Tabletop. I maintain six dedicated Foundry servers running 24/7, so the campaign can remain accessible between scheduled sessions. Players connect through a web browser to their campaign at brassdragon.us.
What do I need to play?
A reasonably modern web browser, a stable internet connection, Discord for voice/community, and your character. Specific games may have additional table requirements, which are covered before play.
Can I work on my character between sessions?
Yes. One of the advantages of the dedicated Foundry setup is that the game can remain available outside the scheduled session for character work, journal review, planning, and other campaign housekeeping.
Do you take private groups?
Absolutely. Bring your own party and we can discuss scheduling, adventure choice, pacing, and campaign setup.
How much does a game cost?
Prices vary by campaign. Public games show their current price on their ArcaneCircle listing. Private groups are quoted based on the campaign and schedule.
Do I have to be an experienced Pathfinder player?
No. New players are welcome, and the Saturday Beginner Box game is specifically aimed at learning Pathfinder 2e through play. Veteran players are welcome too.
What about adventures that aren't on your list?
Ask. The Adventures page is not intended to be an exhaustive list of everything I am willing to run. Content can be imported or arranged for a suitable campaign.
How do you handle character creation?
Character creation is handled per campaign. In general, follow the current Pathfinder 2e remaster rules. Common and Uncommon options are fine; Rare options require GM clearance; Unique options are not permitted unless explicitly discussed. Starting wealth is typically 15 gp for 1st-level characters unless the campaign listing says otherwise.
How do I join a public game?
Use the ArcaneCircle link on the Games page to view the listing and booking details. Discord and game access information are provided for players who join.
Is Anchor89 affiliated with Paizo, Foundry, Demiplane, Pathbuilder, or ArcaneCircle?
Anchor89 is an independent GM service. Pathfinder 2e, Foundry Virtual Tabletop, Demiplane/Pathfinder Nexus, Pathbuilder, Archives of Nethys, and ArcaneCircle are separate products, companies, or community resources. No affiliation or endorsement is implied unless explicitly stated.
